![]() ![]() I don't anticipate WUPping again for years, and can add any new Waves plugins I find interesting for $29 or less. Brand new CPU architecture, yet everything still works (except a few VIs from lagging devs). A few months ago, I moved my ongoing projects from an Intel Mac Pro to Apple Silicon Mac Studio without issue. On sale, WUP cost me about $200, what I might pay for a single plugin from some companies. I WUPped during Black Friday 2021 in anticipation of moving from an Intel Mac Pro 5,1 to Apple Silicon. I had used Waves plugins under macOS for many years without WUPping was running V9-V12 plugs simultaneously under various OS versions up to and including Mojave without any problems. Waves was one of the first devs to update its entire line of plugins to Apple Silicon Native. We now have a completely new approach to CPU/GPU in the newer Macs. use speakers!! but i have good speakers and Arc3, just at the moment i can't make noise where i am, so. (I know some will say, why did i have to do all this for those studio emulations plugins?. but i installed the 3 waves plugins from scratch, so i don't know if it matters. (maybe good riddance) including something called amework (maybe that's the problem). ![]() Logicprox 10.4.7 took 2 hours to scan all plugins and shelved hundreds of them in the bin. Oceanway is all distorted and plays only on the right channel!!!! Abbey road studio: only the volume works. Now, the 3 plugins for which i did all this mess they don't even work anymore!!! CLA nx is like it was not even there. I noticed Waves added my headphones in the NX compatible headphones list, so i thought i would upgrade to V14 since i was never really able to use CLA NX or Oceanway or Abbey road, since none of my headphones were listed.Īfter upgrading, I realised i have only 3 plugins that are v13 or v14, all the others (100s are 12 or below) they will not work anymore unless i shell hundreds of dollars to "upgrade" them to v14. ![]()
